Crochet Pattern Dinosaur and Baby Rattle

Description

CROCHET PATTERN Dinosaur Toy (PDF), NOT the finished toy.

Skill Rating: Intermediate or higher.

Languages: English (US terminology), Russian.

Materials and tools for crocheting:

• 4-ply sport weight semi-cotton or cotton yarn* (amounts are approximate**), 1 skein = 50 grams, the following colors:

• • YarnArt Jeans green #69 –  from 45 grams (~1 skein, you may need more than one skein) for a toy; from 15 grams (1/3 of skein) for a baby rattle.
  • YarnArt Jeans dark green #82 – 5 grams (1/10 of skein);

* I used: YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton + 45% Acrylic), 174 yards (160m), 1.76 Oz (50 g)

**Yarn consumption can increase up to 1.5 times when crocheting with yarn over (YO) method. And the toy will have a bigger size.

• Hook size 2 mm (or other suitable for the yarn). 
• Black (or dark gray) thread for eye embroidery.
• Blunt-ended yarn needle.
• Thin needle for eye embroidery.
• Scissors or yarn snips.
• Polyester stuffing.
• Rattle ball for toys. (I use a rattle ball 2.8 cm in diameter). 
• Tweezers for stuffing, 
• Stitch markers.
