Finished size 

4in (10cm) high without arms, 3⅛ –4¾in (8–12cm) long arms, 

approximately 8in (20cm) high with arms, 2⅜ –3½in (6–9cm) body diameter

Yarn:

4-ply sport weight yarn* (amounts are approximate**), 1 skein = 50 grams: 

1½ oz (40g) of beige (#87)

½oz (15g) of each of 4 accent colors: light blue (#75), orange (#23), light yellow (#88), brown (#71) 

* I used: YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton + 45% Acrylic), 174 yards (160m), 1.76 Oz (50 g)

**Yarn consumption can increase up to 1.5 times when crocheting with yarn over (YO) way. And the toy will have a bigger size.

Tools and other materials

• US size B/1 (2mm) crochet hook
• Black threads for eye embroidery.
• Pink yarn for blush embroidery.
• Blunt-ended yarn needle for sewing on details.
• Thin needle for eye embroidery.
• Polyester stuffing.
• Tweezers or a wooden stick for stuffing.
• Stitch markers.
• Optional: ball rattle inserts can be inserted into the octopus (~ 2.8 cm in diameter).
