Description
CROCHET PATTERN Lacing shapes collection (PDF), NOT the finished toy.
The pattern includes descriptions for crocheting 10 types of 3D figures: cube, rectangular parallelepiped (option 2), triangular, pentagonal and hexagonal prisms, cylinder, sphere, hemisphere, torus, heart. As well as a spiral cord with or without a stopper. A bag for storing figures can be crocheted according to a free pattern.
Toddlers playing with crochet educational toys will discover many new things, study shapes and forms, develop fine motor skills and sensory abilities. Crocheted toys, according to my patterns, are safe even for little ones: they are soft and there are no small parts in them.
Languages: English (US terminology), Russian.
Materials and tools for crocheting:
- 4-ply yarn of any color. I used YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton + 45% acrylic), 174 yards (160m), 1.76 ounces (50 g). Yarn consumption per shape * ~ 1\3 skeins, about 10-15 grams for the cord. You can also crochet a bag for storing shapes (yarn consumption is 1 skein of the same yarn). **Yarn consumption can increase up to 1.5 times when crocheting with yarn over (YO) way.
- Hook size 2 mm (or another suitable for yarn) and 3 mm for crocheting a bag.
- Needle for sewing on details, scissors, stitch markers. Tweezers for stuffing toys. Ruler or measuring tape.
- Polyester stuffing.
